I had a lovely stay at the Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, but my experience wasn't without its issues. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my visit special. However, the noise from construction in the morning was very disruptive and affected my sleep, which was disappointing. Overall, I appreciated the hotel's charm and excellent location, but the noise issue could definitely use some improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are elegantly designed and comfortable. They come equipped with nice toiletries and a coffee/tea bar. However, I did notice some noise issues, particularly from the street outside and from nearby renovations, which could be bothersome.
Service
9.0
The staff were fantastic, especially Juanma and his morning team. They went above and beyond to offer dining recommendations and ensure I had a pleasant stay. Their friendly demeanor really stood out and added a personal touch to the experience.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly located between Passeig de Gracia and Rambla Catalunya, making it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and major attractions like La Sagrada Familia. It's very accessible for walking around Barcelona, which I loved.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet had a great variety of items, from hot dishes to fresh fruits, making it a good start to my day. I enjoyed most of the meals I had, although I wasn't impressed with the limited menu options for dinner on-site.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel features a charming rooftop pool area ideal for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. While the fitness center is small, it still offers some equipment to maintain a basic routine, though it could benefit from more variety.

My stay at the Alexandra Barcelona Hotel was quite mixed. The location was fantastic for exploring the city, and my room was modern and spacious, though the paper-thin walls made it hard to sleep. The breakfast offered a variety, but the coffee and orange juice left much to be desired. Overall, it had its highlights, but several issues made the experience less enjoyable.

While the hotel offered useful amenities, such as a gym, there were issues like the cleanliness of the air conditioning vents that detracted from my comfort.

My stay at the Alexandra Barcelona Hotel was a blend of positives and a few issues. The location was superb, giving me easy access to shops and attractions, but I did encounter a few inconveniences like a broken elevator and subpar breakfast options. While the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, certain aspects of the experience fell short of my expectations.

Rooms

The rooms were large and comfortable, featuring effective air conditioning. However, some facilities felt cramped and were similar to budget accommodations in design.

The hotel's location is fantastic, situated close to major attractions like the Sagrada Familia and numerous dining options. However, the busy streets can be noisier than I expected.

I had a mixed experience at the Alexandra Barcelona Hotel. While the location was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore the city, I encountered a few issues with noise levels and room layout. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay pleasant, but the breakfast offerings left something to be desired. Overall, it was a decent stay but there are areas for improvement. 😊

My room was spacious and nicely decorated, but I faced issues with noise from both the street and adjacent rooms. The unusual shower setup without a door was uncomfortable for three people sharing the space.
